Well, Joel finally got his turn infront of the camera.  If you don't know, Joel is the lucky man married to my latest prego model (who by the way is no longer prego) More about that later...

ANYWAY Joel is a realtor in Kelowna and needed some updated head shots. 

Though I'm used to the super glam fashionistas hehe joel was a great sport...

  And I love the way these turned Out!!!

Stretching my Boundaries (hehe)

I know lame title right? Well it's late so deal with it.

So here we are already in February and I must say so far it's been crazy busy and I'm a lovin it!

Miss Cathy contacted me for some photos for her new website (which i'll post a link to once finished). 

Soooo, me being who I am ... totally insecure, scared and nervous ... said, oh of course i'll do some photos for you.  After freakin out to discussing with my husband about how much I hate shooting indoors cause i don't have the 'studio lighting' (he gets it ALL the time...he's totally used to it hehe) I sucked it up and went for it.  I'm totally happy with the way things went and I couldn't have asked for a kinder client than C. 

So here's the scoop...being the totally wicked, in shape, Pilate's super women that she is, she is now focusing on stretch therapy.  This little lady stretches some of Pentictons most elite athletes..sorry Cathy if i'm not doing it justice.  You can read more about it here.  But seriously...the hubby tried it out and I was so jealous cause it looked so deliciously painful in all the right ways.  You know when you just get a good stretch in and it feels so great...well this is like 10 time better. It was like Chiropractor meets Yoga...LOVE! 

Anyway...here's some pics of the session.  Totally out of my comfort zone but so totally worth it!

T :: Expecting

This past weekend brought some major excitement....FIRST SHOOT OF THE YEAR!!! And from the weather we've been having I knew for sure we would see some sun.  I woke up bright and early, with great anticipation for the day, and there it was...SNOW. ohhhnooo not again....come on!

Well you know what they say...when life hands you lemons...sooo....when life hands you snow...you take a pregnant lady, put her in a cute (not so warm) top some healed boots and hike up a mountain! I know I know...but it's wasn't my idea I swear!!! To say the least...we made the best of it and no one was hurt during the production of this shoot.

Did I mention I wore my boots that had holes in the soles...I tell ya!

Anyway...Jan. 29th the birthday of my good friend T and celebrating her 29th to boot!!!

T is expecting her 4th babe, can you believe it, I said FOURTH!!! It's not very common these days for a women to have 4...but come on when you look THIS good prego you should have as many as your body can handle, right?! Ok maybe not quite, but just look at these!!!  Oh and by the way...get ready...T is due in FEBRUARY.  I know it's enough to make even the non pregos jealous.

Thanks T for celebrating your b-day with me...and for being the trouper you are!!! 

Soooo not too shabby soo far right? I love shooting in natural light...but when we got back to the house we had lost some daylight...ok all day light...so that means i had to make friends with my flash...who i'm not really fond of...but were getting better at working together...guess it just might take some getting used to.

The kiddies needed some camera love too!!!

NOTE TO SELF

As many of you know i just starting this blogging thing last year (2010) sooooo to say the least my page hasn't been very organised...Well, a new year to me means....GET YOUR SHIT BLOG PAGE TOGETHER ALREADY! so its my goal to make things a little more organised...However this may take some time, and by some, I mean a lot hehe. 

Along with getting stuff organized it has been my goal to take more photos....with that being said I have yet to take out my camera in the new year (tear) I know I am HORRIBLE. 

But I have some very interesting clients coming up in the next couple of months so hopefully I'll be able to post some more pics.  However in the meanwhile there may be some random photos appearing...Don't be scared, really, look away if you like =) but I need to photograph MORE.  Maybe Projects, DIY's or some attempts at cooking (not one of my strengths) who knows really...you may even see some of my cat hehe....The point is...The camera's coming out and there's just no way of knowing when my finger will push the button....SO BEWARE!

Thought this photo of myself taking a photo might inspire me to take more photos hehe...thanks for the photo J

AS PROMISED!

HAD to double post cause I LOVE SO MUCH!

Well, It's 10:30 at night and I work in the morning but I just could not wait to post a sneak of these photos.  So...meet AMY and KARL...Laid back, Beautiful, Natural and well kinda uncomfortable infront of the camera.  And I only say this beacuse this was kind of the feeling they gave me before the shoot.  BUT (and that's a BIG BUT!) as you can see from these photos they photographed amazingly!  This is, to date, the most excited I have been about photos and the most proud of myself.  Because they were so nervous...well it made me really nervous too.  They left me totally in charge...eeek!  But I LOVELOVELOVE the way they turned out.

Amy you have to be one of the most naturally beautiful women I have known...and this pregnancy thing...well it kinda suits you :) STUNNING!

And Karl, well I know its awkward being infront of the camera...but you pulled through!

Just in time for CHRISTMAS!

It was a COLD but Beautiful day for this sweet family.
I got a call for a last minute photoshoot for this lovely family of three...just in time for Christmas...and I'm sure glad I did. Can you say GORGEOUS!!!
I swear I could probably show you almost every shot...these three are perfection.  AND little K...well daddy better keep a close eye on her!  She gave me full blown poses like it was Next Top Model...I'm talking hands on hips, puckered lips and the odd thinking pose..HALARIOUS!
I am so grateful you called me for your family photos!  Cause boy was it a breeze.
Did I mention you are all gorgeous?!?

CALLIN' ALL COWGIRLS!!!

This LITTLE BDAY was a girls dream come TRUE. Sisters S and T  had quite the little HOE-DOWN, the cutest little outfits, a deserted cowboy town, even panning for gold in the tub! Check out these two little beauties as they turn 2 and 4.
